I can't help myself, when I see vintage fabrics like these I just have to buy !!!! I got quite a lot of new pieces for my collection, plus a vintage wooden ribbon reel from France - it's just so cute.
These are all from a shop in Paddington Brisbane, called Retro Metro - they have a great stash of vintage fabrics. I am not sure yet what they will become, stay tuned to this space and when I work it out you will be the first to know LOL !!!
Beautiful finds! I'm jealous and I can't resist when I see fabrics like these too. It is the first time I have come across your shop (great to hear of other local crafters)- and have let friends know. I'm sure I have the same purple paisley but I love the blue below the most- was it originally a curtain? It will look sweet on a little girl.Michelle
Woops, that didn't work so well, I meant to say "do you mean the blue floral fabric, second from bottom, it does look like curtain fabric but is actually a lovely soft cotton perfect for clothing.
